Description Another really tough one with lots of detail. Some of the darker areas, didn't come out as dark as they should be on the scan.

Time- 50hours
Matierials- 9B to 4H, blending stumps, 135gsm paper

all thos stripes may have driven ME craz y if i'd tried that
btw, i noticed that alot of he darker areas reflect the light of the scanner when done....so occasionally i resort to using photoshop to darken it back up again..just by using the contrast/brightness slider.

Thanks, I to use photoshop to adjust contrast, and brightness after scanning, but couldn't adjust it any more with out making the whole thing look too dark. Do you know a way of isolating, and adjusting one small area at a time?

other than painstakingly using the lasso tool? No, unfortunatly, lol...wish there was a way to hit the non white areas only and....oh, hmm...i wonder if that wou - no, no that wouldn't work , never mind. *sigh* almost thought i was on to something. it IS veyr limiting, ill agree.

Thanks very much The background was done by hand, using a Mars Lumograph 8B pencil. Has a really dark tone that dosen,t reflect light, rather like charcoal only waxier
