Description It's a lionfish. On a scratchboard. That's that.

Well, actually, I'm gonna gush a bit about this fish. This is seriously one incredible saltwater species. I really wish I had one as a kid, but alas, we had a freshwater tank.

(See, I can do realism, I just hate it most of the time.)

I was doing research on the lionfish and I find it hilarious that it's also known as the turkeyfish. Then again, I can see why they call it that because it looks similar.

Did you take a picture of the lionfish or did you actually draw that?

I've never heard of "turkeyfish", maybe it's a regional thing?

I based it off a picture I found using Google, but all things considered I still drew it. At least, I'd think so.

I guess because some of them have that turkey-like texture to them. That's what I found online.
