And now I can finally stop hoarding Gracidea and Will pics in my sketchbook. Maybe...
After putting Gracidea through hell the last two rounds, she finally gets a round that doesn't end in tragedy. Wooo!
Anyway, I certainly worked my butt of on this one. I'm really happy with how the attacks turned out. Hopefully it's clear what the ones that aren't clearly stated are |D (Thunderpunch, Wish, Future Sight).
It's so amazing to see how far Gracidea and her team have come since they set foot on the Ohana Islands. Through all the trials of the previous 8 rounds (wow that is a lot), she has grown stronger and her bonds with her birds have grown as well. And each team member developed personality, which was really cool as at the beginning I didn't know much about the behavior of several members of her team, Mikyun especially. It just goes to show, putting your characters in various situations and puzzling out how they react really helps to learn more about them and what kind of people (or pokemon) they are.
Even if this is my last round, I have had a great ride. Yeah BFOI 8U/

Winn's work rivals and stories rival that of seasoned digital artists.
The amount of effort and time imbued in each panel, in this round alone, is enough to dumbfound the lot.
This entry has set the bar for emotion, interaction, build-up, and climax.
Gracidea's ordeals have been long, arduous, and, for the most part, heart wrecking.
The previous round stories were intricate, and well written. Each became more heart racing and character revealing up to this finale of grand finales.
I've said time and time over that Winn is the master Heart Stringer, and Winn keeps finding new ways to amaze and touch the eyes, mind, and heart.

Yes, it's been quite a rough journey in recent rounds, but at least now Gracidea gets a break, hopefully a long one. Filled with lots of grill skydancing.
