So this page is a bit longer, but my other pages were short so I hope it's okay
I decided to try something different. Usually I would opt to do a single drawing, but I wanted to try my hand at a battle comic for once. Well, with boxes this time XD
My partner and I decided to go with our first ever Pokemon, Lucario and Xatu. However there's two other ways in which they relate:
1. They both see and communicate in special ways - Luna (Xatu) through their ability to see in the future and communicate telepathically, and Chevalier (Lucario) through the use of Aura (for both a way of seeing/sensing AND communication). This is the main distinction focused on in the comic. Mine will focus on Luna's abilities while my partner's will focus on Chevalier's abilities.
2. Brains and Brawn! Luna's attacks are all special and having to do with the mind while Chevalier's are physical and having to do with the body.

Yay, this comic was definitely one of the better ones. I really enjoyed reading it and I love the way you were using Luna. It's a bit unfar, though, don't you think?
Moreover, Luna's expression are from very cute, to hilarious, to almost creepy. I really start to love her more and more. <3

Thank you ^^ I'm really trying to get more in practice with making comics @_@ As for Luna, it was either use Teleport or use the Future seeing abilities XD Using both would have been ridiculous...
I'm glad you like her. She may have an amazing Poker Face, but she can be expressive too if she puts her mind to it XD

I think you're going great so far. I really like your was of storytelling.
That's actually the greatest con for many comics I've seen in my opinion: The storytelling. No matter how well they are drawn, putting awesome pictures still doesn't help if you're unable to tell the story in an understandable way. After all, that's what a comic is about. But your comic was both well drawn and well told, so thumbs up! ;D
I've never seen such an expressive Xatu, though her Poker face really isn't bad either. xD
Unlike Rhea's Xatu... you should be a little more laid back as well, Copernicus. O:

Indeed. Storytelling is the purpose of comics. I'm happy to hear mine fulfills it XD Sometimes after spending so much time on it, I worry that it doesn't flow enough or things along that line.
