The colors, textures, and patterns here are wonderfully intense, yet unstructured, which fits with the beetle's semi-random and somewhat wild, but nonetheless structured patterns. I love this composition. Your eye looks so blue! I know you don't use photo manipulation for your shots, but did you enhance the eye color digitally, or did the original photo come out that bright?
