I'm curious why you decided not to include the blur tool. This is also very interesting though, I'll keep that in mind to mess around with.

The blur too also puts in colours from your background/other layers and it can even erase all the way down to the base if overly-used. For the most part it is- as peteykid said, a finishing touch.

Many new artists get confused with blending and use the blur tool, the blur tool is for final effects, i use it too, but not for blending, for natural blur, hence the name, its the blur tool

It could have added a really good touch, but i am trying to steer them away from the wrong method
