But I'll tell everyone anyway. Ed and Al are dressed as Switzerland and Lichtenstein from Axis Powers Hetalia. Switz. and Licht. are brother and sister. Ironically, Romi Paku and Rie Kugimiya (Edward and Alphonse in the Japanese versions of FMA) were cast as Switz. and Licht. respectively. Switz is the older brother of Licht... so I had to draw Ed and Al as these characters! It was destined!
If you've seen Hetalia, it's easy to see the similarities between the two sets of siblings, and I detect hints of incest (well, hints is an understatement, Hetalia is a very 'cesty show) with the Alpine siblings. <3
Al is, however, not a girl here. The beret just wasn't working for Ed, so I gave it to Al instead and did NOT give Al hair bows. He's a man!

I was a littleΒ sad when I learned that Gluttony's actor (Yasuhiro Takato/Russia)Β is replaced in the second series sub, but Lin Yao is played by Todd Haberkorn in the dub. I also learn that America's dub is in the series too, so I'll keep an eye out for him.
