6:30am came early for Kerrigan, he was used to at least a seven thirty or even a little later back at DKS but he'd received a letter last night, calling him into action he wasn't sure he would take. The letter looked at him with a curious gaze, daring him to rush off.

All he knew was if he wanted to leave he better do it soon; otherwise he could never sneak off. And with that knowledge Kerrigan left his room, quickly and quietly. And in the cover of darkness from the hiding sun. Tacked up Lestrade and was off towards the well.

As he woke up more, and traveled more towards his destination he caught the sight of the trail of more than one pair of hoof prints. Apparently more than just he had been called to action. Just how many were ahead of him?

6am, this was a usual time for Sawyer to wake up, so now, thirty minutes later after she had snuck down to the well, she was standing by Juliet and putting a secret concoction on her skin. The mixture was a homemade sunscreen, made of things that you could get around the area.

So many horses and riders surrounded her, so she couldn't apply the salve to her thighs without flashing people, it wouldn't dry under her clothes, it needed air to soak into her skin, and the suede she was wearing didn't breathe as much as she liked.

------------------------
*After Aaron's Introduction*

Lestrade waited for the command of his rider, the quarter horse had been searching the horses around him, wondering just who would be friend and who in the end would be a foe. "Alright Lestrade, lets move on." Kerrigan sighed after inside of his mind battling the common fight of 'if he's innocent why run?'

Sawyer was mulling over what was said, her feet out of her stirrups, and she wasn't holding the reigns. Typical Sawyer. Luckily she knew the terrain, and the heat had never bothered her. Juliet and loved it here too.

Sawyer believed Aaron, and she knew that it was weird that the deputy didn't step up and take the Sherriff’s place. It bothered her, and she didn't like the feeling one bit.

Lestrade walked forward following the herd of more horses and riders, Kerrigan though from the large stable of Dragon Knight Stables didn't really know anyone from around here. He was so used to being home, training his beloved Thoroughbreds, that he was far from his element.

Born and raised Englishman flew to America to start fresh and for four years had lived in Virginia, the plains out here were much different, and fuck was it hot! Maybe he should have listened to Morrigan and brought a hat. Lestrade jerked back jarring Kerrigan from his thoughts as he looked at the behind of a painted mare. "Shit I'm sorry!" Kerrigan grumbled, "Mind was other places."

Lestrade snorted as he pulled up beside the woman and her mare. Kerrigan looked her over dark raven hair and light blue eyes. Dressed up like a Native American "I bet your shoulders are hot." Such a lame way to start a conversation...

When Sawyer felt Juliet jerk and move awkwardly, she almost fell out of the saddle. After getting her bearings she heard a man behind her speak. "Oh, no it's my fault. Juliet gets distracted easily." She watched him and his horse pace up beside her and Juliet; she looked him over, and then giggled when he talked about her shoulders. "Surprisingly they don't get very hot. I grew up in this area before moving to Virginia and working at a stable there. What about you, aren't you hot in long sleeves and dark pants?" She tilted her head curiously, and then looked at her left shoulder, wondering if they looked burnt.

Kerrigan shrugged "used to it I suppose, one doesn't work with horses without being in pants. Granted the shirt and vest are hot but, eh better than burning." Lestrade snorted underneath him as the mare reached over to brush against him. It was much to hot for Lestrade to play a flirting game.

"So what stable do you work for anyway? What do you do other than hang out with outlaws?" he asked thumbing towards the group ahead of them. So many different looking horses, this really would be a great way to get DKS out there as a stable but, when one was concentrating on the real life of the situation one simply forgot about talking about stable work. "We have this big farm back home, Dragon Knight Stables, we at the moment are big into racing Thoroughbreds, quite a few have made a name for themselves, as well as our competing crew. Though I guess my job back home would be training some of the more crazy Thoroughbreds, and I'm a rider from time to time. Depending upon where I'm needed."

Sawyer pushed Juliet's nose away from Lestrade before looking back at Kerrigan, but the horse under her wasn't a happy horse. "I usually work in shorts, Boss hates it, but I don't pay her much mind around that matter." She pet Juliet, then pulled a bandana out from under her saddle and laid it over Juliet's eyes. "Stop bothering the poor stallion! I know you think he's cute but quit." Sawyer sighed softly, and watched as Juliet then relaxed and kept her ears forward.

Sawyer looked back to Kerrigan, and shifted eagerly in her saddle when she heard "Dragon Knight Stables", knowing he was in for a surprise. "I work at Silver Wings Stables, riding Cross-Country and Show Jumping on Juliet. Right now Kari is dying of paperwork, we aren't being as active as she wants, and with recent injuries with the horses we won't be for a while." She sighed softly, then looked at all the horses ahead of them. "I told Kari that she should have done this event, but she had to muck pile up of work." Then she took the bandana off of Juliet and put it back under her saddle. "It must look weird, putting something over her face...but it works to keep her on track. Have you tried that trick? Well, I made it up so I'm guessing not." Juliet burred agtatedly, chewing her bit and stomping a bit more than usual. Clearly she was annoyed to have the cloth removed and the rising sun in her eyes again.

"Silver Wings...sounds familar, I'll have to see who we know from there when I get home." Kerrigan rubbed his face as the sun came over the horizion. "I guess there's no turning back now...were outlaws now." He chuckled as Lestrade looked towards the sun, "How's it feel Lestrade, breaking the rules." The horse snorted in aggravation ready to push forward. The two moved forward talking among themselves as they rode. The day would be long and hard, but at least they were both in good company as the day treked on.
