Description Here's another strange creature from another world! This drawing took less to be completed than the other one, yet it didn't came without difficulties.

---CREATURE PROFILE---

These crawling creatures lives in the scorching deserts and travels for long distances during the day seeking for food. They eat primarily carcasses but they are able to hunt down creatures even twice as big as themselves, then they are also able to swallow the prey whole thanks to the movable jaws and flexible structure of the body.

Its powerful bite traps the enemy and even though it doesn't cause serious injury it is often enough to ensure the kill, that's because of its saliva which is full of bacteria and highly infective due to its scavenger nature.

They move quickly through the landscape by diving under the sand, they have multiple transparent membranes to protect their eyes while buried. A common hunting tecnique is to rapidly dig quicksand under a prey to immobilize it and then attack it, this is briefly anticipated by a rattling sound.
Repptles also use their rattle tail in order to discourage potential threats.

When it hasn't its forked tongue out to sense around, the two tips lays in two sacks below its chin.
The purpose of the two skin fins at the sides of its neck is not known for sure, however Repttles shake them when threatened but probably also to release heat.

They are rather territorial towards one another yet they'll meet around huge carcasses and sometimes hunt together big preys.

Habitat: Scrub/Desert.

Spread: Uncommon.

Nature: Irascible. Irascible creatures let humans get close to them, but they might attack unpredictably and with very few warnings even when not disturbed, though these attack are meant to send away the potential threat instead of killing it, they will turn any near creature of the same species against the enemy, often resulting in deadly scenarios.

Thanks a lot!
Though it isn't a redesign.
Out of curiosity, which Pokemon would this creature be similar to? I have not been consistent in my interest in the brand and so I don't know all of the little critters.

It's a dead ringer for Dunsparce.

That is kinda scary image and new danger when walking through the desert.
I really like the added info you have given it tho.

Thanks a lot!
I really put a ton of effort in these drawings, especially the more recent ones (check them out!) both in the realization and in writing the creature info, so glad you liked it!
