Description I wanted to expand my Wildborn serie by building the world not just with creature profiles. A long ago I uploaded a lotus , and I've been trying to enrich the usual white, blank and sterile background in my latest designs.
From this one forward I want to add more environmental details to the drawings of this serie, even if this means they'll require more time to be completed.
By the way, I'm not used to draw flowers and plants, as a result the two here took even more effort than the creature itself.
Lore!!! Largente!!!

---CREATURE PROFILE---

Bluecephale are creatures with a bad temper, they can be found in mountain areas and are quite territorial, they don't shy away from fights often, even against bigger creatures and predators...or humans.

Their resilency and temper alone is often enough to scare off most encounters, but should it come to a proper fight, they're quite able to defend themselves.

Blucephale have thick hide and osteoderms that provides an effective protection, with the grey areas on running from their head and their whole back to the tip of the club-tail being even harder scales partially fused with its bones.

This creature extremities are equally dangerous, they possess a sturdy bony dome atop its skull and a robust skeletal and muscular structure that allows that dome to serve its purpose, that purpose being to violently bash against their foes multiple times without damaging the Bluecephale or any of its internal organs.

While their headbutts are formidable, they have many other aces up their sleeves, Blucephale's fangs are meant to eradicate roots and plants from the ground but their bite is strong enough to sever human fingers effortlessly.
Blucephale are faster than it seems, they can outrun most Scouts and their strong legs gives nasty kicks, that and the razor-sharp claws on their feet makes tackling this creature from the midde as risky as from the front...guess this is as good a time as any to spend some words on that club-tail of theirs.

In spite of their not so great eyesight, sneaking up behind a Bluecephale is unadviceable.
When they don't feel like bashing headfirst into enemy, they'll wag and fiercely whip their rigid club-tail at you which is very bad for your health.

So, in conclusion, if you come across one of these mini-bastions don't pick on it and hope it does not pick on you either.

Bluecephale have others, not deadly, interesting characteristics: their forearms are almost completely vestigial and aren't able to articulate much; they are extremely territorial especially with others Bluecephale, if two of them meet they'll start ramming against eachother untill one of them gives up or isn't able to fight anymore, they seem to allow another Bluecephale in their sourrondings only around rivers and waterholes, if they're of the opposite sex, or during the mating season when all adults gather together... only to either engage in ramming contest for the males, or to pick a worthy mate for the females.

Young Bluecephale are green in color but becomes indigo as they grow, yet sometimes this doesn't quite happen and half-green adults are the result.

Habitat: Mountains

Spread: Rare

Nature: Territorial. Territorial creatures don't like men getting close to them, when they sense a man nearby they always warn them before come to attacking, whether or not these warnings are clear even for untrained adventurers depends on the creature.

---PLANTS FEATURED---
