"The Man Who Shot Me Wore a Polka Dot Neckerchief"-Full title.

The first person who can tell me what movie that line came from, can have a free print of this drawing. ( That kind of prize would keep many from trying to guess...)

Anyhow I thought it was a rather catchy, charming line; and it translated so well into art. My little pride and joy.

So the basic story line of this drawing is, that a dying man is telling someone else that he was shot while the Express Office was being robbed. And that killer of course wore a very fashionable neckerchief. I added the stick horse as the getaway vehicle, because it seemed so fun...and I had never tried it before. We also have a miniature hitching post, a cool pair of boots, a money bag that looks incredibly fake, some interesting brick work, and a couple pairs of eyeballs watching in fascinated horror as the scene unfolds.

Oh, and as soon as the dying man, with empty pockets staggered out into the doorway to tell his tale of woe, the door reshaped itself into a coffin. Or hey, it was the wild west, maybe the doors were shaped like that all the time, just in case.
