Been a long time since I've really drawn, much less drawn a guy. I'm a bit out of practice with them, and it took me a while before I was anywhere remotely happy with this. I still say I could have done a few more things, but at the moment, I've pretty much destroyed the paper with all the erasing I've done

This is my new character for a D&D 4.0 game I'm doing, ~serge369 being the DM for the campaign.

Tobias Valerian
Race: Eladrin (Basically High Elf)
Age: 23 (Eladrin can live for around 300 years)
Class: Avenger (Pursuer type)
Weapon: Katana (technically going with the stats of a Falchion, since there's no Katana in 4.0 as of yet)
God: Raven Queen
Background: At the age of 16, he was drafted into the local military. His first mission ended with his unit wiped out by Followers of Orcus. He would have met the same fate of his comrades if it weren't for some monk followers of the Raven Queen. They rescued him and nursed him back to health. For the next seven years, he was trained in their secret sect of "Reavers," where he gained his skills as an Avenger. When the Temple Monks sensed a disturbance in the Shadowfell, he and the rest of the Reavers were sent out to quell the source.

That, however, is only his backstory within the campaign. My original idea was FAR crazier and even broke some of the rules established by the standard documentation of the D&D realm. Thus...

In any case, the idea of the mantle and hood combo came from the Khezu S armor from MHF2/MHFU. I added the Raven Queen logo to the mantle, and to the belt buckle and the Mantle clip, although it might be hard to see with the resolution here on DA. I'm a bit worried about the look of his face, since it's still awfully young looking, but then again he is still rather young for an Eladrin. Also, the gauntlets are reminiscent of the ones worn by Batman.... Probably with good reason. Some of the other players and I have been joking around about him doing the whole Christian Bale "WHERE IS HE?!" bit once in a while in the story.
