woo! I finally got something to post up!! it didn't really come out like i'd hoped...and i had to take a picture of it because i don't have a working scanner....damn you scanmaker 4850! anyways!! I stumbled across my new favorite tool...i am in love with the smudge tool now.....it's mine so don't you rape it!! lol! yeah...anyways! long time since i have made an Onnie picture...figured i should make another one seeing is how that is how i got started here on DA. Hope you enjoy it...and it's flaws!!Related content

I really like the posing you've done for Onnie, and the way her hair flows. It looks good and shows some movement. *_* I like colour scheme a lot, and I like the outfit!

also flowy movements with hair is fun, well... making hair is fun in general. xD i pretty much make sure that every pic i do, the hair has to be 100% real. the rest, i don't mind as much... i s'pose you could say hair is a trademark of mine.. ehehehe. also yaaay sharing is fun ^^ but yeh, i use the smudgey a lot. and "accidents" are bound to happen x3

Ahh. . . if you don't mind me asking: How do you do the background where it's like a close-up of your person?
I've been trying to figure it out for so long. . . but I'm not so great with photoshop. . . >w<;

oh it's easy ^_^ all you do it merge all the layers you used for your character (only those!), then copy it (as in actually select and copy it...don't duplicate the layer), then undo on all of your merging layers so you can use them again another time, hit paste and your character should be pasted onto your screen (you will now have two, one that is all one layer and then the other one with all the layers), put the one you just pasted BELOW all the other layers of your character and then just hit free transform and make it as big as you want ^_^ might get a bit distorted if you make it too big but oh well, lol! hope that helps!

what do you color these pieces with??? if you don't use a scanner, then you could not have use photoshop..... *is new at this*

my scanner hates me since i bought a mac. i have to take a picture of all my lineart and then i bring it into illustrator to outline everything and then i bring that into photoshop and color it ^_^ if you have any questions though i can do my best to help ^_^ thanks for the comment too!!
