I finally finished it!! i have been slowly working on this forever!I drew this earlier with very little resources [link]
and it looked horrible, so i promised myself I'd redo it. So this is completly redone on paint tool sai and I love how much better it looks! The sketch tool is pretty handy except that its really hard to do lineart. Therefore, this picture is still really sketchy, but i couldnt really fix that.
On the left, America (or Alfred Jones) from Hetalia Axis Powers with his alien friend Tony next to him. Cowboys are American, hence, him being a cowboy.
On the right is England (or Arthur Kirkland) and some of his many mystical friends. (the yellow thing to his left is supossed to be a fairy....it was really hard to color actually...) There were a lot of British pirates back in the day.
I fail at backrounds.
thinking about doing more of these with the other countries.

hahahaha! Nobody has referenced the fairies to peter pan yet, but i guess it still fits. That is a british story/play after all.
Isn't it great! Though poorly drawn, I thought the cowboys and aliens went great together! purely american my dear!

My three thoughts on the picture:
1. America's side seems a lot more badass in my opinion. c:
2. The cows and UFOs in the background made me rofl.

Solid compostion. The backround is actually quite good. Sure, it doesn't look fantastic, but it works very well. It's coherent and consistient with the foreground in terms of both style and perspective.
Lol, I bet piracy was Arthur's crazy-rebellious teenage years/middle age crisis (depending on how one would scale ._. I have no idea) I'd imagine his attitude and behaviour was even more crack-worthy
