The background illustration for a spread from an identity project in the Winter 2019 semester!
My interpretation for one featuring Anna Sewell’s Black Beauty; trying to keep from being
influenced by usual covers for the novel while also conveying the overarching mood of the story 🌙
I definitely see areas of improvement for this painting, but I for sure recall enjoying
the process for it either way! Black Beauty fades off into the background as if going
back into a dark memory.
