No poem was written for this drawing when I finished it, but maybe there should be. There's a clarity in the peaceful look of the elf, something quiet that whispers gently. The twisted, circular engraving on her cheek contrasts this, like barbed wire. But it doesn't break the feeling of solace. And thus she made me think of the the well-used saying "Hope dies last".The original drawing is for sale at my store: [link]

I love the variety of lines, and the angles. And texture. In fact, using just one tool, you have a little bit of everything as far as design goes, which is hard to come by! Very aesthetically pleasing.

There's just something about this that I like. Your use of lines is so clean and smooth, and there's something pleasing about the shapes and curves. I also like her facial structure. It's very interesting and different.
