hmm, this dragon reminds me of my character sushiclaw. except that sush is green, and hasΒ a double row of feathers along his spine, no patterns on the wings andΒ a crest of feathers like a crown that surround a green gem placed on the top of his head.

Oh my gosh! I am a total fan of your books! Isn't that the dragon you drew on page 43 in Dragonart Evolution? don't mind my art I have displayed on my Deviant, those are my digital drawings, which are horrible! My pencil Drawings are better! ππ Can you write me a few tips please? I am in need if them! π

Thank you!!

I've been very happy with wacom, but since I haven't changed tablets in several years I'm not current on what other brands are good. Conceptart.org has several threads on tablets that may be helpful to you. Just do a search. Those guys know what they're talking about!

Hi, I saw somebody who seems to have traced this pic of yours. Here: [link] they think that tracing your work is ok, but they say they haven't asked permission from you so I figured you'd like to know about it. Feel free to ignore this comment if you don't mind them tracing; I know you get loads of comments and don't have time to answer them all.

I think this is a case of heavy referencing rather than a trace. I did have this illustration in a how-to-draw book, so it's reasonable to assume that people will draw from the side art as well. Thank you for looking out for me though. It's appreciated.

This particular image was used in DragonArt: Evolution, and yes, its' out.
Dragonworld is not *my* book, though I do have artwork in it. Dragonworld is an art collection of 50 dragon artists.

You are my inspiration! The first time I ever saw your work....I thought to myself "that right there is what I want to to do." I want to become good as you. I came across your work by accident. But you know...I'm glad I did. I wouldn't be doing what I'm doing now without your inspiration. You trully are an amazing artist. I hope you know that. Keep up the amazing work! And thank you.....so much.

I love your work, but there is one small problem with this one: the back wing is not helping the silhouette value of the head.

the scales seem flat, but for a dragon, I guess that would be good right?

Very, very nice! Great proportions and details in the linework. the only thing that bug me is the pose of the second wing (the one in the background) that is perfectly aligned with the head and cause a weird first impression that it's a single object. Beside that, it's great!
