Description Alien biologists and paleontologists had a hard time when human gods decided to ship them on planet and let them explore ancient ecosystems. In 150 million years old formation that once used to be sea shore, they found variety of different organisms from bygone era, some completely new, some very simliar to their terran counterparts.

Bryozoans - very common in early seas, not different from their terran counterparts. In modern times bryozoans are important reef builders and filtrators. Some more derived species even form giant floating colonies, simliar to floating islands.

Brachiopods - named Lingula advena, this brachiopod is among most common fossils found there. Brachiopods diversified much later, some evolving convergently with nautiloids from ordovician, some staying as reef builders and filtrators.

Chaetognathans - only one fossil of chaetognathan was found, but it surprised researchers. Creature named Titanosagitta imperator grew up to almost 20 centimeters long. While it's terran cousins could barely grow over 1 or 2 inches, this monstrous invertebrate was this big probably due to lack of fish in early seas, as specialists say.

Spiders - spider fossils are pretty common, but this one shows the feature shared by all modern chelicerates on the planet. It's the third eye made from fused smaller eyes on the top of the head. While other spider fossils look no different from terran counterparts, this one, named Trioculus primodialis is probably ancestor to every modern chelicerate.

yeah i used actual fossil images but i remade them a bit in program so who cares lol!!
