Description Wax, oil paint, and staples over gelatin silver print, mounted on particleboard.
Size: 40"w x 20"h

This one is part of what was meant to be a three-part series. As of yet, I've only completed two. The central image of the woman with her hands behind her in a simulated winged pose remains the same, with the added wings being the part that changes. In this particular piece, meant to be the final piece in the series, her wings have been replaced, albeit stapled on rather haphazardly.

Wow, a huge contrast to the other "Winged" piece. Your paint strokes have a very nice shape. What's "gelatin silver print"?

The gelatin silver print is what's in the middle. It's an actual printed photograph, 16"w x 20"h, as opposed to Winged #1, which is a laser print onto canvas.
