After reading this comic I tried doing my own Nuzlocke on Soul Silver, depositing deceased 'mons instead of releasing so I could transfer them when I finished. Didn't work out so well since I had a near total party kill thanks to Chuck's double teaming Primeape. My only Pokemon left was a level 24 Tentacool when I won. Since Jasmine's gym was immediately after and none of my back-up mons were nearly leveled up enough for her and were generally poor matchups against steel, I had to give up there. Oh well.
I noticed a slight error here. The way Lassie asks "That got on TV?" indicates he learned about the explosion being televised from that conversation, but no one actually says that it was on TV. The scientist only implies it was in the newspaper when he asks if it would kill kids to read the paper. You might change Lassie's question to "That got in the news?" or "That made the news?" It's not that big an error though; I only noticed it on my second read-through.

Anything that is inflammable, in a sufficient quantity, and at a appropriate concentration, can explode/combust quickly in the air..
If you have, say, a room where the air is filled with sawdust for example, well, past a certain ratio, it just needs something to ignite the mix, and everything will burn..

Actually flesh doesn't explode when lit on fire, but it dose explode when exposed to extreme heat. also plants produce ALOT of flammable stuff.

Yeah, it'd be really tough to keep tabs on the attacks Pokemon are allowed to use. You'd need to have laws, regulations, and referees, and all that would have to be handled by an enormous centralized organization... a kind of... league, you might even say...

makes sense. i came to da first so i post here first and link each chapter to here. that way evryone can see the pretty cover art my freinds and comissioners make XD. and no your not being malicouse, I just try to kinda back off if i feel i;ve come off too hard. Ive loved the run since it first started and the art ddef drew me in. You have a great story comin and taking it very seriosly and I can respect and apreciate that. You have bloated my brain twice this morning, once with a slam-dunk great-tastic take on Pokeballs in this 'verse and then again with revealing what should really stop surprising me as being another moving backstory for Lassie. Wait....battles are supposed to be continued until a pokemon is unconscious or knocked out, but a pokeball won't work on the unconscious aaron?
I'm confused...its illegal for his poochyena to use bite because its not lvl 13 yet? Or is it more like they are not allowed to battle with that pokemon until it is lvl 13? 0_o...

Yes, in this world Pokeballs can only catch/recall conscious Pokemon, so losing a battle is not only humiliating, but really inconvenient. Trainers usually handle the problem by carrying Revives, which are designed to jolt a Pokemon awake just long enough to recall them. I added a note up at the top of the page explaining why I interpreted things this way.
And your first explanation is correct! Lassie is not leveled enough, which means he should not be using Bite yet. Also, even if he was level 13, it still would have been illegal because Robin didn't command the move.
