Its because he's really a nervous agressive dog. That's why I took him on. He's alright when he's round people he knows but if he's off in a open space and strangers come in sight he gets over exited and starts playing rough with their dogs and some people can be a bit dramatic about that so to not cause any problems he wears it just in case he does it to the wrong person. Eithen though he lives in a house full of dogs Loki doesn't really show the right signs to strange dogs which can get him into trouble.

Well it seems pretty friendly, one of my dog has a problem with people carrying umbrellas, or if someone get too near me or the wife at night, but I guess that is a good thing.

Lol, That's what everyone mistakes when they see him. Funny really. When I walk my rottie that I've got 100% control over and have to worrys when I walk him people tend to cross over or try to avoid him. When I walk my Lurcher, I think its because he's quite a bright colour people presume he's nice and likes to be touched when he doesn't. Loki (Lurcher) had a photo shoot the other day for a magazine and while my back was turned talking to the guy interviewing the photo guy came walking up fast and roughed Loki on the head. Only meaning to give him a fuss he didn't really know better but Loki just turned round a went to bite the guy. Lucky I was on ball so calmed him down straight away. But that's why I have a muzzle on him because people even if they only mean good don't tend to have the right body language or understanding around him.
Yea, my dogs tend to be protective of me at night if I'm out with them.
What sort of dog laws? I know that in the dangerous dog act that its not just pitbulls <(Which are lovely dogs anyway) Or any of the banned breeds that can get prosecuted. I know somewhere in section three of the dangerous dog act it has something about A dog only has to cause fear in a person for the owner to get prosecuted. So even if a chihuahua made someone feel as if they were not safe around the dog they can prosecute the owner and if things fall threw it can be ordered for that dog to be destroyed.

Now that is a weird law (the causing fear issue)
When i got my first Pitbull the cops always went after me saying crap, now I got these 2 registered as mutts , so laws don't apply, its a real shame those who do the laws rarely have knowledge of dog behavior.

Yea its weird but that's what's put in the legislation. =/ That's why I'm so cautious about Loki. Eithen though not many people really know about that part because there's not a lot written down about it just a few lines but its still there and I know it is so I always use precautions.
Yea, the police down here aren't that bright about dogs or dog law, we eithen had a police woman come into out work asking about it because there was a dog attacking her one and her department didn't want to know. Shows how much most police people care.
