Description If you pick up a starving dog
and make him prosperous,
he will not bite you;
that is the principal difference
between a dog and a man.


Jasper the american bulldog. Was at portsmouth kennels for a very long time. Due to the fault that he was a large dog and a Steryo-type. You would not have met a softer or more loyal and loving dog! Luckly after many many months he finely got the forever home he deserves.
Not so many are as lucky.
Please do not judge these breeds on what you hear or read. Judge for youself!
Make sure you have the right to disaprove these breeds, Go voulenteer at a shelter and work with these breeds, at the end of the day you have a true oppinion whether to like or dislike breeds.

There is a shelter near you. There are animals not far from where you live that need help, love and surport.
Be the one to make then difference!
Adopt, foster, sponcer, volunteer, spead the word and educate.
Everyone can do their part to save a inocent.
The power is in your hands.

Beautiful boy I do have a soft spot for the bull breeds. Have spent so much time working and photographing them at rspca in leeds and it's hard not to love them. Can't beat spending the afternoon with a bull mastiff sitting on your knee giving lots of slobbery kisses We lost a beautiful boy Spike on Christmas eve after he was classified as one point over the scale of being typed as pitbull. I know how heartbreaking it is, if only the government and public would change their stupid opinion of them.

Yes, he was a sweetheart. :]
They do have such a loving side people choose to judge them before getting to know the animal.
Yes there are some that are the steryo type due to bad training and up bringing but that goes for any breed [the amount of beagles that i've come across with temperment issues but people wonder why because they are cute so they must be wasy but dont understand they need working]
But bull breeds are so easy going.
Aw, thats such a shame. :[ So many pit types about, I think they are Gorgeous, same when such a loving animal can be put to sleep for discrimination. no different from nazi death camps really.
I agree that a seriously agressive animal [of any kind] that causes a REAL threat should be delt with. but to just be so ignorant and class the whole breed to a death sentance is discusting. :'[

Yes he was a gorgeous boy.
So many animals out there that need a home and help. Its a shame sometimes rescues cant be advatised a bit more. I know so many people dont relise there are rescues near them. :[
