Pebbels needs a understanding home. She hasnt couped with being abandoned well and shut down when she came into kennels. She can get enviroment possessive, But once out of her kennel she turns into a normal playful dog and loves a ball! ((Which is good as you can reward good behaviour with toys and treats with her and she responds well to it!)). She wont be any good for a home with children or other pets. She needs a one to one and to get that bond with someone that will bring her trust back with people.
She is looking for someone that will keep up training with her! and to give her a stable and constant home.
Once she opens up for you she is a darling girl. She is a good walker. Though at the moment she is only going out with selected dog walkers that keep up the same routine and training. But all say she is lovely out on walks.

I go down rouhly every 3 weeks so its usualy updated then.

All dogs from Portsmouth dog kennels are vetted and microchipped before going to a new home. The kennels works closely with protencial adoptys to find them the perfect pet that will suit them and fit in with their lifestyle. They have a process of a meet and greet, and if it clicks we get the people to bond with the dog as much as possible before comiting to adopt by having a day trip out with the dog and a sleep over peiriod of a few days so you can fully get a idea/routine of feeding and walking. So its not just the 'honeymoon' period of having a dog then relizing the responcibillitys that come with it.
