Featuring Genei Ryodan's hulking Franklin from Togashi Yoshihiro's Hunter x Hunter. ♥

I think Franklin is a very cool character (Aren't all Ryodan members cool?). He doesn't think twice mass-murdering innocent people like the rest of the group, but I became fond of him when I noticed that he always looks out for the extremely forgetful Shizuku. It's cute, isn't it? And not to mention, definitely OOC for thieves and murderers in general. ^^

Yes, I've finally managed to snap out of the seasonal and highly unwelcome winter blues, and was able to come up with a more-than-decent art. I'm proud of myself for having come up with this one cause it's my first time drawing characters with unusual features. I usually draw normal-looking people with attractive features. Come to think of it, I don't think I can bear drawing unattractive characters, but then Genei Ryodan members are definitely an exception and they hold a special place somewhere in the depths of my heart (I'm THIS biased). ^^

I actually drew the draft for this after coming up with Shizuku: The Bibliophile (see: [link] ) cause I had extra time for the day, but I was afraid to continue (mainly because I believe Franklin will be difficult to draw), so I just set it aside and started anew with Gon Freecss: The Highest Bidder (see: [link] ). Anyway, I'm glad I didn't erase this one, and since I was feeling really down for the past few days (because I think my art is getting worse), I thought of finally finishing it even if I expected my Franklin art to be a disaster (I had not meant to publish it then). Much to my surprise, the outcome was better than expected and I didn't experience much problems drawing his facial features. It was a bit difficult to get the proportions right though, cause my reference photo has his features slightly unsymmetrical. ^^

I enjoyed working on this Franklin art, and I can say that this is one of my favorite dA works. Hope you guys will like it as much as I do. ^^
