Introducing our favorite twisted magician and whimsical liar, Hisoka, from Hunter x Hunter by Togashi Yoshihiro. ♥

Hisoka is an enigma, and I love how unique (sadistically insane and perverted) his character is. He's not particularly dashing when he's with that silly face paint and using his hair gel, but he was definitely drop-dead gorgeous when he's taking a bath with his hair down and wet. And his well-toned bod? I just died at the lovely sight (Yes, I'm pretty much like Bisuke-chama. Just a teeny-bit perverted). If I were Machi, I would've succumbed to his unearthly charm right then and there. ♥

I don't care if he prefers young boys whom he often refers to as 'unripe fruit', as long as he's interested a particular feisty and beautiful woman named Machi. Yes, I'm totally digging that couple. I was a bit sad though when Hisoka revealed his true colors and departed from Genei Ryodan, because he and Machi won't be seeing each other often anymore. T_T

At last, I've fought my inner demons and tried my luck at drawing Hisoka. I've been avoiding to draw him for the longest time for the fear of not doing justice to his gorgeousness, thereby disappointing myself greatly. I was saving him up for last (along with the equally gorgeous Kuroro), but alas, he came earlier than expected. ^^

I was running out of ideas for drawing, so I finally settled on Hisoka, only with the intention of practicing him. Much to my utter surprise, it came out pretty decent, so I decided to furnish my sketch. ^^

I didn't start with drawing the rough shapes and guidelines, but rather proceeded to drawing his facial features (I usually start with the eyes when I'm being lazy with the guidelines and such). After drawing his entire face, I was pretty happy that I got his features easily, so I proceeded with the hair, then the clothes. After which, I finalized everything and did the background. ^^

PS. Please excuse the poorly-done background. My reference photo looks like it's done with watercolor, and I had difficulty translating it into pencil art. ><
