Description Introducing our very own katana-wielding Genei Ryodan member with a thirst for vengeance (and Uvogin's biggest fan, ahem, best friend), Nobunaga Hazama, from Hunter x Hunter by Togashi Yoshihiro. ♥

My spirits cheered up a bit cause I finally had my long overdue appointment with my dermatologist and was really, really, really relieved to have found out that the really disturbing rash I've been experiencing isn't as serious as I thought it would be (I'm a hypochondriac and I can be very paranoid when it comes to my skin). It's actually the one of the things that had been causing me extreme depression and anxiety lately, but now that my concerned has finally been cleared up, my problems are down by half, and I'm back to my usual motivated (and somewhat cheerful) self. ^^

Moving on, I spent the entire afternoon trying to come up with a drawing but everything turns out looking like trash. After what seemed like hours, I finally gave up on drawing (because I was really worrying over my skin, which is most important to me) and set aside the sketch pad. I watched a couple of episodes of Hunter x Hunter (the 1999 anime), and it really cheered me up! I felt lighter and kinda forgot some of my problems, so I got a new paper and started drawing again. ^^

I figured out I have drawn almost all the Kumo members except Nobunaga, Kortopi, and Bonolenov (I'm not so sure whether I should draw the latter 2 though). Since Nobu's one of the more prominent members and he's sort of funny (especially when he's being sooo proud of Gon and such), I pretty much enjoyed drawing him. ^^

I drew Nobu's face first, and I really took great care in order for my drawing to look exactly like him (which just means I spent a looong time getting his face alone). After I was satisfied with his facial features, I proceeded with the rough shape of his hair (I'm saving this for last because I know I'll be spending a LOT of time shading), and finished his shoulder and clothes. Afterwards, I shaded the finished parts and proceeded to get it over with with the hair. My fingers were not that spent on shading, but I did have a hard time because it's so cold here and it gets my hands numb. ><

Although it's simple, I was pretty pleased with the outcome. Drawing this made me realize how good-looking and cool (His mustache and beard made him look really, really cool) Nobu actually is with his hair down, of course. Honestly, he reminded me of Otou-chan here, since they both look sort of drunk and with sleepy eyes. Otou-chan did sport the same mustache, but I always used to cry whenever he grew his goatee. ^^

I agree!! Nobu looks better with his hair down.. i mean with all the technologies Uork Shin offers, an ancient samurai look does not fit in.. besides, i like guys with long hair better when their hair is down..

Another awesome one, though i was actually surprised you only did one usually there'll be 2 or 3.. happy that you finally cheered up..

Well, i think you'll fare well with Kortopi, but i don't thin Bonolenov is such a good idea.. i mean all those mummy straps and holes and such..

He and Machi have the same sort of clothes. But I think they do fit in. The only weird ones in Ryodan are Kortopi and Bonolenov. ^^

Bonolenov will be a challenge, but I'll just have to wait and see for myself. I already managed to draw him 10 years ago anyway. ^^

I like guys with long hair too, and those who have feminine qualities (that's mostly the common denominator of all my favorite bishies). But in real life, I prefer middle-aged and manly men. ^^

Thanks and virtual hug~ I really appreciate your comments ♥

Oh, high five!! I love feminine guys as well..! It's because in reality, there aren't any guys like them, so at least there are nice guys that makes me melt just by seeing them in animation..

In reality though, i like sporty guys.. the ones that looked weak, with lanky figures and looked like he'd be blown away just by the wind.. but actually are really strong, in sports that is..

Well, if you can draw him 10 years ago, i know you'll be better now..!

If I'll be drawing him in the future, I'd better think of a more interesting pose for him instead of just standing. ><
