O_o I didn't say anything about not creating new arts... did I?Anyway~~ One of the oekakis that actually made the 2 hours record. X3 I am happy with it, and next goal is probably 3 hours? *not sure about his legs positions...* O_ob
My printer wouldn't give me a decent print on this. T_T
In this case, the waves really symbolize a mental state... the image is about conqureing. One of the few times that I can get the dramatic feel out of an illustration.

I would have taken this for a painting.. i seriously would..
It looks great and the only thing i would point out would be that the boot on the far right side would be unecessary as his legs would look perhaps more fluid if the leg appeared straight instead of bent like that.
Its still great nonetheless..

wow,that doesn't even look like an oekaki drawing. looks more like CG/Prismas.O_____O luv the wave,and his sword reminds me of Tidus'(from FF10) sword for somereason.o.o awesome job,May!I think you got the feel of the picture just right. X3

This reminds me of another piece of yours. But this one is much more dynamic in feel, emotion (the expression in the face) and even angle. I like the coloring especially in the wave. That sky just seems a little odd, like its out of place. Maybe a different color scheme would help warm it up with the rest of the piece.

just wondering is he surfinng that wave? creating it or escapng it? the name is a bit confusing. nice rendering at the top of thw waves where its white wash with the purple/blue shading

As usual, your colors are amazing. I think however the wave is too smooth, no offense. And yes, I agree I think there is something wrong with one of his legs. But 2 hours? Damn. That's reallyyyyyyyyyy fast.
