I love me for this...I still see it everyday and STILL enjoy the pillow I made from it
Well, the stitching is done
With all the imperfections due to the fabric used or my own mistakes I think this is my favorite that I've ever done.Pattern designed by Mike Vickery. This was a kit from the Vickery Collection called CELTIC EMERALD CROSS. I used an old used linen napkin I had purchased from a yard sale instead of the fabric provided in the kit.
Next it will be the pillow front for a round pillow

Oh wow! Did you use a sewing machine to stitch the pillow?
I'm going to try mine by hand....well I don't have a sewing machine anyways ^^

i suppose the same can apply to the hand technique. And yes you have to put a new pic up!!

I used a machine to sew the front and back together on 3 sides, inserted the pillow, sewed the fourth side and the decorative stuff on the outside by hand

Ah the move, if only that had come about, sigh, but its basically swaping one social houseing for another and the other person turned out to have massive rent arrears which they hoped I would pay off for them, well guess there had to be a catch when someone offers a fantastic place in return for ermm my sort of dump, the social housing landlords won't allow a move unless the rent accounts are up to date, and I don't have enough money to pay my own and someone else's lol, didn't find any of this out untill I'd started Packing and almost booked the removal firm.....I think this information was left to the last min by the other person as a bit of an incentive to pay off their debts for them, and not waste the hard work done in packing up, but they picked the wrong person with me, I'm Broke, so no matter what it is I cannot affoard to do it lol.

Then you can use the fabric off a cushion on one of those old vinyl couches!
