I was reading The World of Cross Stitching one day (I do that more often than I will admit here) and came across "Ruth's Stitching World" that featured this biscornu. I really liked it so I went in search for it and found it on Pinterest which led me to Etsy [link] where I purchased the pattern immediately.

The front is the Yellow Butterflies Pattern, but the pattern gives a Reverse Design for the backside called "Knot Garden at Heidelberg".

Instead of doing all of the pretty French Knots the pattern required I threw in beads to give it some bling (because that's how I roll). I haven't considered those little satin roses you see in the sewing section at the shops for anything other than decorative for embroidery or to put on a nightgown I actually love how the rose fits right in there.

I wanted to make this my May Biscornu, but didn't technically finish it until today which is June 1. What do you all think? May or June Biscornu?
