Description
When I got married in September we had a humanist handfasting ceremony. I wanted to make something special, so I created this. It's embroidered on Harris tweed (the isle of Harris is one of our favourite holiday locations), backed with a tree print fabric, and the pattern is a celtic knotwork pattern based on a pattern found on a local standing stone.

(I should mention, in order for the knots to work, it's nearly 2 metres long, taller than me! It was embroidered whilst binge-watching hours and hours of old X-files episodes, which, along with Stargate, often accompanies my crafting sessions!)

I'm still trying to figure out the best way to display it, so it's currently folded carefully in a drawer.
