we had a really heavy frost on christmas morning, everything was so beautiful, I went for a walk and took photos before even opening presents!
Some pink rowan berries down by the pond.

yeah looks that way, but as i recall it hadn't been windy or stormy at all the night before, i think it was down to the freezing frost, but that doesn't really explain the one-sidedness i guess!

yeah it doesn't happen very often, we had sort of freezing frost the night before, so it think that's why, it just kinda all builds up on the branches. There was even frost on our horses manes and ears this morning!
