Description
This is the finished product from the "scale shirt WIP"I am not quite sure how long it took me to make, I am guessing 50-60+ hours. I will get better pics of it eventually. for now this will have to do.

Can I ask, how is it fastened? also did you'dart' it to give it the waist shape or is it taken just from the sides?
I'd love to see more photos and also have an idea of how much it would cost to comission you to make something like that. I make costume, but Man-O-Man that is waay outta my league and I doubt I'd have the skillls or paitence to attempt something like that.

My scale shirt, with far less tailoring I'd imagine, took well over 200!

I've had this image in my favorites for quite awhile and am amazed every time I look at it. Just great work.

It is true that I didn't keep exact track of my time, but I worked on it while I was still in school, for a few hours a day, and it didn't take me more than two weeks on that schedule to finish it. The large scales are fairly quick work.
I am glad you like it though! I am currently working on a pair of gauntlets that will be up for sale fairly soon.

Dude! Get better pics, just to do the piece justice. Most here who see that will have no idea how much work went into it.
It amuses me that you are in the opposite position as most of us. You are your own model; that makes it harder to get good pics. We can take good pics, if we had more model access! P-ha!
