I checked out some of your works and I got to say it was totally awesome. Love the swords, man.
I may not make swords though, but I love designing them. I'll be sure to upload some more to check out later.

Forgemaster, interested in making a sword or two? The particulars of the blade mean it wouldn't have to meet the same functions of a standard blade. I want an Estoc.
Thanks for the fav, I've got a few more iterations of 'The Image' that I hope to upload... someday when I have a scanner.

I could make you a sword, depending on design. Base prices however are somewhat deterring to most, swords start at 600$ and go up from there. Estoc design would be no probvlem

The blade it self I am interested in, for the Estoc. I was considering grinding down some squared off black Iron, since that seems fairly available to me. I will keep this offer in mind however, 600 isn't bad for a custom sword, and I've already seen that you are capable of making fine looking specimens.

Cool stuff, man! Do you happen to make any Scottish weaponry?
How did you learn blacksmithing? My entire life I have wished there was some way to learn it and practice it, but I don't think there are any old-style blacksmiths in North Alabama. If I knew someone in the area I'd love to see if I could apprentice myself to them (though, honestly, I doubt I have anywhere near the money to blacksmith or even apprentice), but I don't know of any.

I was involved in a traditional 6 month intensive apprenticeship in VT.
You are in the south, there's lots of blacksmiths. Though sadly the old apprenticship system is all but gone in the united states, but visiting and perhaps making friends with a smith is one of the best ways to learn. If I give you some phone numbers or addresses to write to, do I have your word you will?

I can't give a final, emphatic answer yet, but I do hope that my parents will allow me to try to find some way to get to know and learn from a blacksmith over the summer. I will talk to them as soon as I can. Metalworking, and in specific, blacksmithing, is something I have *always* wanted to do. I'm wondering if perhaps they would allow me to do it as a part of my actual schooling.
Still being in school and having no source of income are my main problems.

I generally make things out of spare car parts that are welded with forged steel as well.

I have already planned few new weapon projects for next summer. (Probably 1-3 warhammers, pole axes or something like that.) I forged also one spring steel spearhead in last fall, but not going to upload it here until i have good amount of some other works to show as well..
