I've never been particularly fussed with my flying eeveelution, so I wanted to make another one at some point. Big thanks to my friend for inadvertantly inspiring me to do this one...
Griffeon, the Avian Pokemon
Flying Type
Ability: Unburden (Hidden ability - Hustle)
A pokemon with a tenacious nature. It can fight using its sharp hind-talons coupled with impressive speed.
To obtain, level up eevee during the daytime while holding a spikey down

But is not an evolution of eevee because it seems too close of a bird for me !

I'm in the process of slightly changing some of my current eevee evolutions, I was thinking of possibly drawing this one again with smaller wings, but the rest of the proportions and details I'm happy with. I think if I called it a griffin line, it would look too much like eevee for that!
But anyway, I'm glad you like it's design. Thank you

Yeah I'd like to know what he uses too. I kinda think it looks traditionally done, but it's hard to tell really as there are so many ways to draw 'traditional' lineart digitally now

I guess if there was enough interest in it I'd do it...
And I use Photoshop to colour, but I do the lineart traditionally

I draw a lot of my other pic's lineart digitally, but I like to do my fakemon traditionally because I find it easier to imitate Sugimori's lineart style that way. That and I like to practice keeping my hand steady
Keep practicing though, my lineart from a few years ago was hideously shakey and messy, so in time I'm sure you could be happier with your work

Yeah i'll finish it at some point, although i kinda dont wanna make it eeveelutionesque now, just a thumpin' great gryphon! And I shall claim it to be a "realistic" grypheon, Huha!
