Description New transmission... It took a while to get this far out from the mysterious building of generaators.

It looks like something has happened to this place, an attack of some kind. The big docking station to the left seems broken and there are signs of broken structures all the way round the mountain / building.
I have a feeling this was an attack with some unknown malicious weapon, I have seen signs idicating that the whole structure has been folded out through the fourth dimension, seems unlikely but...

You can see the generaators sticking up from the big main entrance above the middle of this image, detailed picture here: [link] from my previous transmission...

On my way down to level –2 as I send this... O&O... 5342()(/3€€&/(92eq-...

Now this is mind-blowing! I love it. It looks like it could come from the 4th dimension. Very dramatic looking.

Thanks angel!

Actually a folding of 3D space out in the 4:th dimension is a part of this hybrid fractal...

Your pictures are among the very very best of that type!

Thank you Godino, you have some great images in your gallery too, I am a surreal painter since many years!

I am looking forward to eventually installing this! I'm sooo busy I haven't any time to do anything I really want to!

MANDELWERK In reply to AnnaKirsten [2010-08-12 06:02:30 +0000 UTC]

This is prio no. 1 Anna, other things can be done tomorrow!

BTW, do you want me submit fractals to your group or do you choose them?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

AnnaKirsten In reply to MANDELWERK [2010-08-12 16:52:42 +0000 UTC]

I'm very happy for you to submit. I don't actually have time to go around too much requesting, but sometimes I do if I see something submitted to another group and I really like it

OK, I'll submit if I have something very special to share!

With no effort at all, just a fractal waiting to be found!

(Well, the background on tis one is not part of the fractal, but all the others has no postwork...)

great series you're developing there!

is bmp the only format m3d supports? it would be a pitty...

MANDELWERK In reply to oppenheimer [2010-07-02 06:30:09 +0000 UTC]

Thanks O!, there are a zillion images waiting inside that thing...

BMP and Jpeg, I think, I hate BMP and I hate sRGB, but that is the world of windoze, isn't it?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

oppenheimer In reply to MANDELWERK [2010-07-02 12:51:13 +0000 UTC]

sRGB is kind of standard nowadays. a nice alternative would be adobe '98 i think.
i just spent unnecessary 15 minutes to clear the gradient in the bg of the new deviation -.-
...therefore 32bit PNGs rule in my world.

MANDELWERK In reply to oppenheimer [2010-07-02 12:58:01 +0000 UTC]

Adobe 98!!! even better would be ProPhoto RGB, but it will only be standard for professional photographers I think...

sRGB is a small terrible, useless colorspace forced upon the world by Microsoft.

32 Bit!!!

I do the gradients in PS if possible...

but i learned from that and will do a single fuchsia colored bg
too bad it's linked tothe fog.

MANDELWERK In reply to oppenheimer [2010-07-02 13:25:32 +0000 UTC]

Yes, I was thinking about that, in a beta version of subblues mandelbulb script it is possible to export the depth-map seperatly, I used that on som of my julias, you can do all fogging and stuff in post processing. I think will send Jesse a PM about that...

Wooooo, this is one freaky looking place Johnn!
Very alien, but with an almost 'Victorian', steam punky sort of air about it.
Think the little 'brass railings' give it a kind of Jules Verne look too

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

MANDELWERK In reply to MarkJayBee [2010-07-01 11:29:24 +0000 UTC]

Thanks Mark, allways glad to please you, you always have good comments!
(did you notice that the railing is a little bit broken at the tip far to the left?)

And it is a whacko place, the whole structure is very chaotic, except for inside this "building" and a big cube with a cube that hangs over it... But of course I havn't been all over the place yet... just wait a few eons.

Nice closeups from level -3 coming up soon!

I should get a little man in to repair that railing, old chap.
A fellow could have a nasty fall from there....

I guess I have to do it myself, nobody else here... I'll se if a increment of 0.0000001 of the scaling can do the trick...
