Hi Mallacore,
Wow ! This is just the kind of creatures I'm ever wanting to design !
In the Hoshikaze 2250 universe I work on as a hobby project, such creatures are called "Volerochers", translating to "RockeStealers" in English, because they eat asteroids and so steal them from miners !
Some people make spaceships out of them. They capture them and fit them with technological components, leading to kind of cyborg ships.
I've downloaded Sculptris, didn't know of its existence, but I doubt, as a 3D noob, being ever able to do something nearing your level...
Also, great job, nice ships all over your gallery ! I much like this one, and also the hard-science-looking ones !

Right now it is around 700,000 but it was a new program I was trying and I was still learning the tools. I have since found the poly reduction tools and I'm sure I could get it down to around 300,000 - 500,000 polys.
