Thank you . It is a combination of two . In blender cycles render ,there is an emission shader , which you can also use it for a light source basicly It glows . That is part one and two, again in cycles there is a nice post process / compositing area , there I added a node called glare . Thats all . I saw some of your pieces they look pretty nice , give a shot to blender you may like it .

I'm beginning to think that blender may be the best/most underestimated program going I use Rhino mostly some Poser,Bryce,Daz-learning AI,PS,FL. Blender seems to give you good post pro tools gonna check it out
