Meet Oog, the Cyclops.He's from the same world/game concept as the Lost One [link] . He is a member of one of the main evil agencies in that game, the main shared visual trait of which is, of course, the hypertrophy of one eye and the atrophy of the other eye. He serves as the first real boss of the game.
I actually did most of the work on this about two months ago, and only recently did I go back in and finish it off by adding the textures, which were fun as hell to paint. In the initial concept, he didn't actually have a face; his upper body was just a fleshy, amorphous blob with a large eye sticking out of it. However, since he needed to be able to talk, I redesigned the face to include a deformed mouth. I also thought it would be a cool idea to have a second, atrophied eye. This would add interest and also make Oog unique from most of the other cyclopes out there. The spikes, bumps, and various other textures were all improvised.
This is one of my first real forays into horror and truly grotesque designs. Tell me what you think!

Just got done checking out more of your stuff. You are definitely one of the most talented designers ive seen on here. And im going to have to try that tutorial at some point. It'll probably end horribly, but hey, its something to do.
And in Twelfth Night (I don't know if you're at all familiar with the plot), some of the characers play a trick on Malvolio, by writing a fake love letter and making it seem to be from the lady he serves. Its full of riddles, and implications of her love, and one of the lines is "But silence, like a Lucrece knife, with bloodless stroke my heart doth gore: MOAI doth sway my life"

Interesting about Twelfth Night. What does that word mean in that context? As for my name, I first started joining art sites and forums in 2006, and I was really into Tikis and other Pacific island sculpture at the time. So, I used the name Moai, which is the indigenous name for the statues on Easter Island. That spelling was taken here, so it became M0AI.

Its made of letters from Malvolio's name, so he, being a shakespearian douche, would automatically assume the letter was for him, but the forgers would be able to deny it if their plan failed.

I really like this version of cyclops.
Also he looks like he holding the eye in his forbidden hand like torch. Much better tnan usual.
Also - will be nice to see, if he even can blast his eye like a torpedo, and then eye will fly by his wings and THEN-will return to cyclops with some news.

terrific once again, the eye is quite nice, a very interesting placement. He will haunt me in my dreams. I picture him talking like the elephant man "I am not an animal! *slurp* I am a CYCLOPS!"
