~Stand Firm!~

Still on my Warhammer 40k fever, this time a more common scene from Space Hulk. And this time painted while recovering from a bout of illness, which haven't subside....

I decided to change the lightning claws to something similar to a Zaku's heated axe blade with lightning properties.

"Brother Donovan's boots clanged against the admantium floor, echoing across the surfaces before quieting. He scowled underneath his helmet, glaring at his auspex as if he could change it by glaring at it. But so far, no luck, It was still showing nothing save his own signal with none of his brother's signals appearing. He had fallen into a shaft several hours ago and had been walking continuously since then. Turning into a vast empty space, which appeared to be the terminus of several different paths, he halted a moment, looking at each one and tried to gauge the likelihood that one of them would take him back to his brothers. A scuttling sound broke into his thoughts, causing him to flick out his lightning claws in response. Gazing at his auspex, he noted that it had registered several faint signatures that it had dismissed as errors. Donovan however had fought on Space Hulks before and knew that most likely he was about to be attacked by genestealers. Grinning, he activated the power cells of his lightning claws, glad to be able to take out his anger on something. Besides he noted, if any of his brothers were down the corridors they would hear the fighting. His thoughts were interrupted by the screaming of a genestealer as it leaped at him from an alcove, bearing down on him with fangs bared and claws raised. He stabbed it in the abdomen, sticking the thing on their like a trophy. Before he could get it off however, more came and soon his boots were splashed with their ichor as he hacked and smashed them aside with his claw and the first corpse."
