I am very much in love with this piece. When I first saw the title I initially thought "well summer time is the appropriate time for reading..." and when I clicked the link I was more than pleasantly surprised! I found this piece to be quite original. I very fond of the concept. It looks to me as if when she walks by she reveals a whole entourage of books waiting to be opened. And the colors really blend in together as well. The whole piece reminds me of the artwork of Hiyao Myazaki and Impressionism decided to spalsh together. The only comment I would make is that I feel that the keep out tape should blend in more with the background instead of being one of the prominent parts of the piece that we see. But it's definitely offset by all the books floating around in the water as well as the subject herself. In conclusion this is a very lovely piece that definitely deserves good review.

Very impressive, if not terribly original. I do like how the title creates a sense of expectation and what I saw in this was different from what I had expected. I assume that you used watercolors, or computer airbrush ( I could be wrong) and I like how they evoke a peaceful serenity in this painting. I like the clever placement of your signature in the ripples and the keep out tape tucked away in the corner add a sense of release and freedom to the atmosphere. Perhaps a little work on the blurring of the foreground could be sued to improve, but otherwise I see nothing of any significance to criticize.
