digital commission for *Mekania ! it's her original character. i came up with the outfit and hairdo (she usually has her hair down).done entirely with a wacom tablet in photoshop 5.0; i inked it with paintbrush, and colored with airbrush (varying sizes and opacities). i can't believe i managed that... i've become so very painter-addicted lately. photoshop crashed on me too! goshdarn! but i made it through :b so here it is.

That hair is just damn gorgeous. I love the shading and the style and how flowing and beautiful it is, and the palette is very nice too (I lovvve red) The outfit design is very awesome too!

whoa! i just got my wacom tablet along with PS 5 and Painter like...3 days ago! this is amazing...if you could do something this awesome and we both share the same tools, then maybe i can at least come this close.

haha. well, sometimes i comb through my main gallery and pick out all the drawings that aren't like... my favorites. ideally i want about 50 deviations in my main gallery. so i get rid of all the old ones or ones that resemble other ones and that kind of thing.. and put them in my scraps so that folks can still see them and i still have all the favs and comments people gave :] does that make a little sense?

( I'm not a fanatic, I swear) but really you are a pleasant change of pace, this piece has such a childish, naughty, disney-like energy. I like it!! So many artist depend so much on color that they don't know how to balance it very well to me. yours looks great with such balance and design, ma sista.

I can totally understand the Painter addiction. Yesterday I drew my first pic in Painter, and it's so different to Photoshop, so much more fun!
The picture is great, I love the way you draw hair (in every of your pictures), and I like the way how parts of her are outside of the background.
