Well, it's an Icelandic horse. Done with a reference, still not compeletely happy about it, especially when you hold the reference next to it. But it looks nice overall. Wanted to do a background too, a dark one, but I'm always to scared I'll mess it up. Maybe one day I'll get the guts to try it. Hope so!!Related content

Know what i would do is go make a copy of this pic and draw in a background on the copy, then if you ruin it you ruin the copy. Trust me thats what i have to do lol, i cant tell you how many things ive ruined with a background

Hey, that's actually a good idea! I might try that. If I ever get the motivation. When I finish something, I finish something. And never get the urge to re-do it or improve it. No matter how unsatisfied I am with a drawing. Stupid huh. Really should try your idea, might complete the drawing. Thanks!

Ugh, I know how you feel. I'm always too afraid to do something new to a piece I really like. But I like the white background. *shrug* Lovely piece as always. And have I mentioned how much I love how you do hair/manes? *borrows some of your talent*

I love the rugged, tough look of this horse. This is an animal that looks like he has to live in harsh weather on a regular basis.

Beautiful! I think it's fantastic, and would look even better with a background. I understand why you don't have one, though... I never want to mess up pictures that way, either.
