Ok, I've been fighting the urge to draw human ponies for a while. So here's what happened...I had the thought of a human Rainbow Dash flying around, and decided to try and apply their "talents" into some sort of xmen-ish mutant type character.
I imagined Twilight as a Scarlet Witch type character..just kind of generic magicy goodness.

Why are there so many racists in this fandom? Every time there's a humanized pony who's not white, people comment on how the artist chose the wrong race for the character. No one ever complains when they're white, though.

This is actually one of my favorite twilight sparkle human designs, and that surprises me, since I tend to feel like a lot of the darker skinned twilights look forced to me (not necessarily something I can explain 
I especially love that you strayed from the sweater vest, it looks very nice (the sweater vest also tends to feel forced)

The look of the character is all in the opinion of the artist. If you think Twilight should be white,then go draw her as a white person. Quit whining on other peoples' art about it.
Personally, I think she looks nice like this and it goes well with the purple, but she looks good either way.

Considering a series of different events that occurred through out both seasons, I would rather compare Twilight to Jean Grey.
The only thing missing is her being the container-like host a living, sentient manifestation of telekinetic energy.

I wonder, why does everyone think of human!Twilight as being of African descent? I'm not complaining at all, mind, but I am curious.

actually, technically, i think a lot of people make her indian. i'm not sure why, but for me all of the skin tone choices were based off what looked good with their color scheme. it could be that purple, when translated to reality, fits best as a dark skin tone.
