Since Twilight Sparkle is the Smartiepants of the group, I had to love her. Only Pinkie Pie left of the main girls. Don't know if I'll do other characters or not.Copyright Hasbro ect ect.

I don't think "everyone" does. She's a pony, so it really does not matter what ethnicity people draw he as if she were human, it's beyond unimportant how people perceive a made-up cartoon character as a hypothetical human girl. Also, I can't tell people's color by their voice, so her voice actor being white doesn't matter. It's like saying Naruto has to be a female because his voice actor in both English in Japanese is a woman.

Funny... not really sure why everyone seems to be pitchin' a fit or just in some kind of shock about humanized Twi being black or dark skinned.

Seeing as how the majority of human Twi is done with her as white/Caucasian what exactly is the issue?
It's a long running general 'amine' thing to give dark skin female characters purple hair so it kinda fits to me. This is the first humanized Twilight Sparkle I've seen with dark skin. I had to go check out some pony art groups just to see what the fuss was about and like I said the majority of human Twilight is done with her as white/Caucasian.
Poor Twilight is gonna have racial identity issues now...

I know, I was really stunned that it's evidently a big deal. They are PONIES. She's purple, which is a made-up color. No problems there. Why can't she have dark skin? Is she less of her sweet, smart, beautiful, neurotic self because I make her black? Because others have a preconceived notion the because they are white, so must she be. Which, to some degree, when you self-project on a character, it may seem weird. But in reality, they can all be whatever color or ethnicity the artist wants to make them, and more power to them!

not being racist, but it's because the world isn't just white =^P I've looked through a bunch of these humanized twilight pictures and everytime i run into a dark-skinned twilight, the question is asked. No one asks why they picked white for the white ones. DA is supposed to be the place that accepts all kinds of twisted art and the most controversy is under humanized pony phenotypes.

I didn't know everyone did. I just thought her darker coat color translated well, plus her name is "twilight" sparkle, so it works for me.
