I NEED THIS PICTURE! ITS SO BEAUTIFUL I CAN'T BREATHE!
It's perfect, but I find some problems.
Just tiny ones, like the arm doesn't seem natural.
Arms end really near the knees and here, they end at the sides.
The elbow also seems a bit wonky, but maybe that's also because of the shortness of the arm.
Also, the hand seems off, the thumb would be longer, and the space in-between the index and thumb should be bigger and round.
This is all I have to say!
The background is beautiful btw!
COngratulations on this piece, it really is amazing!

The words of one who suffers from depression, usually can't be told to someone who doesn't suffer from it themselves. This picture makes me feel sad and lost. The feeling i know all too well. To me, the red blurs represent thoughts and feelings that keep my mind from calming down. The dread and fear of being lost can tear somebody apart. And i feel like this picture shows that. The person in this photo can feel every heartache and they have no control over.

While looking more into this picture i can tell you that you did a great job on showing how it feels. Depression and anxiety is horrible and it is hard to tell someone about it and try to explain it that way. But pictures, have a great way on showing how it feels.
If there is one Critique about it that is a little off. In this picture, it shows the whole body getting engulfed in clouds. But isn't it your head that has these thoughts? Maybe focusing a little more on the head and not so much the body would be better? But that's just my opinione.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=" (Smile)"/>
All in all i love this. It makes me feel like you captured what people with depression suffer with on most days.
Good Job.

Hello! Thank you so much for the critique!! Also Thanks for sharing what you feel!
Really means a lot to me!

Really glad that I can convey some feelings out there. Really appreciated that you've let me know what you think.

I really like the head idea of yours. Sound pretty interesting! I keep it as my next piece, already have a vague how it is going to be. For this one, I feel like it will look better with the body, composition wise. Also I wanted to convey the feelings of you are being torn apart and swept away, about to lose sense of self and disappear. But yes, I agreed with you, it all start with the head, but later you feels it in your whole body too.

Thank you so much for the idea! I'll definitely use it, really like it!
Have a nice day!

I really like this piece. The contrast between the foreground and the background is really stunning. How you have the brush strokes on the background is neat. Oh so like how the brushstrokes show movement like it’s the wind or the aura around the person. Tell most looks like the person is being torn apart by the fires with in or the fires without. It’s sort of reminds me of a scene from the studio Gibley’s Nausicaa of the valley the wind, where she’s hurt and all these owns also like how the brushstrokes show movement like it’s the wind or the aura around the person. Almost looks like the person is being torn apart but the fires with in or the fires without. It’s sort of reminds me of the scene from studio Gibley‘s nice of her of the value the wind, where she’s hurt and all these omis put their tentacles out and surround her with a glowing light.

This is a really, really beautiful piece of art. I can definitely relate to this image - when I get myself all worked up and sad about something, it does feel like my head is disconnected from everything else. I can't see the good in anything anymore. Even when the situation is severe, I make it so much worse than it should be because of that feeling. For me, it's like just tapping out of reality into something completely unbalanced, and you've captured it pretty well.

This piece definitely brings a lot of attention to it. I really like how colors seem very vibrant and nice, but the character is in pieces, getting ripped apart. Stylistically it's done very well, lack of shading on the skin of the character isn't a problem since you've made a very clear silhouette, and I personally would stick with it for the clothes as well, but maybe then the piece would be a bit empty? I don't really know why, but the clothes look off to me.
I feel conflicted when I look at this piece, many emotions are rushing throughout me, which is well portrayed by the clouds, and various brushstrokes, with amazing textures. It really is a piece that I would love to see in a gallery, to make me stop and think about how I feel, and how this piece affects me.

I love this piece, I think you've done amazing work here! Great job!

Oooh, thanks for telling me this!!
hmm.. so the details on the clothing can be distracting, but if I goes for the silhouette then it would also feels that it lacks something. Plus I also want a contrast between the person and the clothes too. After all clothing is not a part of a person, somewhat..

Thanks for letting me know how you feel! Appreciated it!

It definitely feels cloudy/foggy. I also like how the person is smeared against/within the clouds, like they are kind of still themselves, but you see them slipping away, too. Good job!

Hello! I am from

Now, to the critique. I am on mobile right now in a car so I apologize for typos and mistakes...

The overall abstractness of the piece is intriguing, you have the paint splatters and the boy fading away; I love the originality! I also love the emotiin and symbolism put into it, and I am huge fan of sybolism (I can rant for an hour about good symbolism. )

The use of color is clever, the warm colors comtrasting against the colder ones, it brings your eyes directly to the focal point of the painting. Colors are lile a runway, a metaphoric (or literal!) arrow to what you want the viewer to notice. When correctly applied, it can add a dramatic flare to the piece. Again, the color uses symbolism.

Your line technique is breathtaking, one can definitely tell the care put into it. The harsh brushstrokes gives the piece an angry, crazy hectic feel. You can feel the distress pouring out of this painting.

The one thing you might want to work on is anatomy. It appears that there is a boy's silhouette (blue) is getting torn apart and blending with the red. Now, if one were to be pulled apart in that specific way, the head placement would be slightly lower. If you stand back and look at it, you can tell that the neck is way too long for normal humans.... unless he is not a mormal human... hmm, up for debate.

Again with anatomy, I believe that the arms are sadly a tad bit too short. Slap your hands against your thighs. See how low they land? Now, swing them out in front of you. Notice how far they go.

I love how the fingers are anatomically incorrect because pf the way they are fading. Not everything in a piece has to be perfect.

Now that I look back at your piece, I am noticing another anatomic mistake. Human legs don't naturally bend that way. Go in front of a fullbody mirror and examine your legs in side profile. Ok, now bend backwards, your legs don't go floppy like a noodle, right? (I hope they don't)

Ok, last thing I want to say is.... I love the shading on this piece, masterful work on the highlights!

I hope art is a strong emotional outlet for you, because you have a lot of talent amd potential!

Hello!, Thank you so much for the critique!

I am a huge fan of symbolism, metaphoric... you name it! I tried to adds things that provoke the audiences's thoughts. I always loved how the paintings of the old master like Caravaggio, looks like a mystery for you to resolve, so many things you could read from just one painting. I am trying to create something like that, too bad my skills are not enough to produce something so realistic as that. I do aware that's my anatomy is my weakness. And I do appreciated that you have pointed it out. I did not notice that the arm are too short at all! Got lost in all that clouds, I guess. And yes, I did not notice the legs too.... I intended to make it a bit floppy, looks like the character is loosing balance and is about to fall, but maybe it's too much, the legs are bending too much.

The head and the neck was my intention though. I intended to make it looks like it was torn, ripped apart so hard that it was sent flying in to the air. I actually tried to place the neck, anatomically where it should but the composition becomes weak. Place the head higher than this and it looks too exaggerating. Still, Thanks for letting me know, will have to find a better solution next time!

Thanks you so much, this means a lot! Have a nice day!!
