First time painting snow, super hard, I've never experience (I wish tho) so it all came from photo study and such, which is super hard...Would not pull this through without the guidance from my teacher.

This is awesome!! Β The lightning and colors really gives a cool effect!Β And the snow isn't bad for being your first time, though it doesn't look very cold somehow. Snow often reflects very much on its surroundings, as if it's glowing, even if it's dark outside (writing from experience). Kinda blue-ish light.Β
But there's no mistaking the snow in this painting, the snowflakes also helps give the impression of snow and the trees as well.Β
I really really like this painting and would definitely buy a print if I had the money Β

Yes I really understand you. Like, I've never been to a big city and don't really know how to "paint" the atmosphere cuz I wouldn't know how it feels to stand there. But I'm not a fan of panting houses so I guess it's ok hehe, but it would be cool to be able to someday
Reflective light is so complicated, I bet it takes a lot f practice to get good at it. But keep on painting and I hope I will buy one in the future Β
