Could it be? It's...Tahusprite! I do not draw robots or fanart a whole lot so this was a challenge, but the fact that he's a sprite makes it easier.
ANYWAYS, you may be wondering who the heck this guy is. I will tell you. He is from a webcomic inspired by Homestuck; it's a cross between Bionicle and SBURB and it is totally awesome! (basically, this is Ray's sprite protostud that's been prototyped with a Tahu toy.)Read it here: whoisray.me/bzpstuck.php
I was looking to see if there was any fanart for this cool webcomic, but sadly there was none. So I determined to make the first one (on DeviantArt, at least)!
This comic means a lot to me; Bionicle was practically my childhood and I remember lurking on the BZPower forums all the time when I was a kid. Lego (Bionicle especially) was such a big part of my life, and when I was a pre-teen/teenager it was pretty much my one obsession. Then we moved, and I had to get rid of my huge toy collection and lost a lot of art and computer files during that time...I was so discouraged that I just dropped the fandom entirely and moved on to making up my own worlds and countless characters. Then a few weeks ago I was feeling nostalgic and went back to see if the site was still up, and much to my surprise, it was! That's how I found out about this comic, and that is the story behind this picture. I hope you enjoy it!

The only bionicle related fanadventure I knew about until today was a small fastly cancelled thing on tumblr called bioniclestuck, I've been looking for this for ages

BZPstuck is shaping up to be pretty epic! It retains my favorite parts of SBURB (dream selves, game mechanics, "God Tier" titles, etc.) while putting its own Lego spin on things.

This is so cool! I enjoyed Bionicle when I was younger, too, and it's pretty interesting that someone crossed it over with HS.

Granted, it lost a lot of its appeal in later years--not the story so much as the action figures, which were suddenly all identical parts, color swapped, with no gears or levers or that sort of thing...
But -Bionicle-.

The story was always my favorite part of Bionicle; the depth and thought put into the whole Matoran Universe is still mind-boggling to me. I do agree that the set quality declined in later years. :/ Still, I did enjoy building my own creations with various parts collected over the years. I used to only buy white and blue sets so that the colors would still match when I took them apart to build something else... XD The new "hands" they use for the Hero Factory sets are one of the best improvements over the original sets in my opinion.

The new hands are good, except they only have two pin-ins. And yeah, I collected a lot of parts...Though I've heard that you can go to garage sales and Ebay and find massive tubs of Bionicle and Lego parts that people don't want anymore. We both need to look into that.
