I'm loving how the Needles series is coming along. These expression are just simply astounding! I especially like Meekrus and Riplash's expressions; never would of thought Riplash had some fancy jaw shenanigans going on

Meekrus is a very jittery kinda guy, so he's a good candidate for squishy stretchy faces. As for Riplash, there's a lot about him that we don't know much about......he's a beast of very little in the way of expression. He almost always has a scowl on his face, and has never been seen smiling. His emotions usually range from Apathetic, to angry, to VERY angry. The rolled back eyes and crazy tentacles coming out of his mouth only see the light of day when he's VERY angry....

ofc i mainly love the antagonists' designs the most but i love the protagonists as well
i can already relate to albox and meekrus in these expressions lmao
the bottom right albox and top right meekrus are both me tbh
i wanna see needles become a series so baaad (whether it's a webcomic, literaturely driven or even animated series)

If you ever wanted to, feel free! The world of Needles (known as Desolearth, a post apocalyptic merging of Earth and a world known as Umbra Macra), is full of different races of beings, from Saurians to Bug-humanoids, to werewolves; so I make sure to keep a similar theme among the characters, while also making sure they're unique as possible. There will definitely be more protagonists and antagonists to come too!
Heh, so, annoyed to the soul then? Lol. They're very much the mad scientist types. Well, Meekrus is anyway, Albox is more of an overly-ambitious playboy/kingpin. They're both very smart and conniving, but somewhat bumbling.
So far, I actually have the Webcomic gradually coming along here. Still trying to figure certain things out, but Needles has become my primary artistic focus for me, so I'm putting a lot of extra care in it. I can't give an exact idea of when it comes out, but I'm shooting for at LEAST by the end of next year (maybe sooner if I can get more time to work on it).

i actually have my own project w/ many different races and such called galudia and basically its an alternate earth where humans died out earlier and many different sentient species (referred to as monsters) and such survived and are competing, socializing or even in war with each other. there's also a technical heaven and hell in galudia, with them being referred to as the overworld and underworld. there's even demons and shit that try to go after the main inhabitants of galudia (especially @ one arc in the story)
angelic deities exist too and theres ofc magic bc why tf not (p much its the project my secondary sona rico belongs to)

Hm, interesting. Reminds me a lot about my earlier concept for Needles; the heaven/hell aspect, Overworld/Underworld.....
Don't doubt yourself! If you're truly passionate about your work, then you might be able to bring it to heights you never thought were possible! Even if it takes a really long time. Hell, I've technically been working on Needles since 2012 and only NOW is it really going in the direction I want it to. Find the balance between work and relaxation; try not to stress yourself out, don't over-work yourself, and don't make Galudia just for other people. Do what YOU want with it; make it your own! The results will be worth it.

Riplash and Pendrel are my favorites
Mainly cause i picture Riplash sounding like Benedict Cumberbatch AKA Smaug or Dr.Strange or most recently, The Grinch
Pendrel looks like she could be voiced by Kristen Schaal, basically Mabel from Gravity Falls

"You're a mean one......Mr. Riplash"! Quite fitting, seeing how he would be as cuddly as a cactus.
Riplash would have a dark and smooth, yet gruff voice, without the British inflection. I can imagine what he sounds like, but it's hard to find a comparison to his voice (granted, I haven't seen a TON of shows/movies, so I'm sure there's one out there somewhere).
Hmm....Pendrel is definitely a far cry from Mabel in personality, but I can definitely picture Kristen Schaal. She's sultry, provocative, and sly, all of which would be reflected in her voice. Something soft and inviting. I remember Kristen Schaal did the voice of Roger's temporary girlfriend in the Flood Episode of American Dad; which is similar to Mabel's voice, but much more adult and sultry sounding. Or perhaps something along the lines of Rouge the Bat from the recent Sonic games, or Stripperella. When she's angry however, she gets a vicious hiss to her voice.
