After Lex was done taking care of Daisy he joined Kimberly near the stables. Nervously tacking up Winnetou. He could just see how afraid she was. " You know you don't have to do this. " He smirked at her while lifting one of his brows. " It was just a joke. " She sighed while holding Winnetou's bridle. Trembling. " You and Luciano think I can't do this. That you two are the better riders because you can do both showjumping and dressage. " Not fair. Well...Not really.. She could only blame herself for her blind eye. " I want to prove myself. I am just as good as you guys. " Again he smirked amusingly. " You fell from his back so many times attempting to jump a course and still you want to do this ? Alright ..just..remember what we told you alright ? Try and stay on him and let Winnetou figure out how far that obstacle is. " Kimberly nodded, agreeing to that method. "I will try. " She surely did NOT want to fall. Because then the guys would win this stupid bet and it would be so humiliating to fall infront of all the other riders. As she removed his halter and got his bridle on the nerves kicked in even more. The first riders already did their round and she still needed to warm up. Luckely they were one of the last riders to have a go. Lex removed his sunglasses. Staring at the sun who already started to set. " That's going to blind you even more. " He said rather blankly. " Here, take my glasses. We wouldn't want you to go completely blind now would we ? " He gave her the glasses accompanied with a kiss on her cheek. " Goodluck, you can do this. " After giving her a last pat on the back he walked away to join the crowd to watch.

When she already made a few ridiculous jumps in the warming up arena with Winnetou she waited for her turn. Nervously looking around. Trying to memorize the course as well as possible because looking for the obstacles while riding was a no go for her. Too fast, too blury, too black. Too far. She sighed. " Don't kill me please. " She chuckled while stroking his neck only to be called back to reality within a few seconds. " You're up !" She heard. " Now or never. She said and trotted to the arena. Making a few rounds with Winnetou to check all the obstacles again.

After greeting the judges she made Winnetou canter. Already going rather fast but still keeping it under control just to get over that first jump. Approaching it she already couldn't tell when he was going to jump since she was completely blind when it comes to distance. Kimberly didn't have the skill to count the strides and make sure the horse would be okay to jump. So He would have to do that all on his own, and so he did. He jumped but waaaay too close, making it very uncomfortable for her with this weird short ass jump. But he landed and she was still on him. Not really caring about maybe knocking a bar down. She could worry about that later. She sped him up, they needed to be fast just in case they made an error. Most jumps they made were either too soon or too late but there were no refusions from Winnetou what so ever. And when they finished she threw up her fist, rewarding the stallion with a huge bear hug around his neck. " OMG we made it you son of a gun I love you. " She couldn't be more relieved. Eventhough she almost fell of like..thrice. It didn't matter because they made it. And as she looked at all the obstacles they all still seemed to be intact. Well she thought they were. But it was time to celibrate. And Lex was already waiting at the gate. Having a small proud smile on his lips. "Seee that wasn't too bad. "
