The first lady of fighting is here! I participated in a group project with fellow AMAZING artists Dean Stuart , Mike Manomivibul , Grim Wilkins , Colin Nitta , and Jonathan Stagnaro for APE 2012. We all claimed different characters and my first inclination was to do Yun and Yang, but no one was repping the ladies. So, of course, I had to go with Ms. Chun-Li here.I had to give her her famous thighs, but I was tired of her default costume so I went with this one instead. Still purely her, but much more suited to participating in ass kickery. Wanted her to look powerful and focused. She got some major muscle booty.

The pose rocks and I applaud you for not stooping to the typical boob/butt or crotch shot that seems to be the de facto pose selected by any artist drawing her.

The only thing bothering me is the right trapezium, or lack thereof. If the arm and shoulder are risen, shouldn't it show between the deltoid and the neck?
Maybe it's just the angle, but it ticks me off...

Kevin, your work is among my absolute favorites of all time.
As a kid who grew up with video games and comic books all around me, but growing up into someone who loves fashion, your style and your subject matter is a perfect blend that I have yet to find anywhere else.
As with all of your work, the sense of style, color, and movement in this piece are great.
I can never get over how you utilize a flatter, textured style yet still make everything feel so alive.
I hope you do end up doing Yun and Yang eventually too though!
